My First Power Generator Prototype

From Beyond Protocol

Select your Research Facility, and click Techs.

In the Research Management window, click Prototype.

Fill in the following:

Name: MyFirstPowerGen

Hull: MyFirstPowerGen

Engine: MyFirstEngine

Click Submit.

After your lab finishes designing (you can tell from the progress bar in the upper left), you will be able to view the results by clicking on "View Results" in the Research Management window.

In the Research Management window list at the top (not the buttons at the bottom), first select Prototype, then Facility, and then MyFirstPowerGen.

It should show as "Designed".

Highlight it.

Choose View Results, then click Research. Once your researchers finish researching it, your MyFirstPowerGen prototype will appear on the Build menu for your engineers.

Since your engine produces 5500 Power and your hull has a Trait that gives a 300% bonus (x3) to Power, your Prototype actually produces 16,500 Power!
